March 5, 2010 - X-Factor Filmmakers was the Presenting Sponsor at this
year’s NYU Fusion Film Festival, an event that recognizes female talent.
X-Factor was thrilled to award Avid Media Composer editing software to
Karen Odyniec, who won the festival’s X-Factor Filmmakers Award for
Best Music Video.
The NYU Fusion Film Festival’s mission is to encourage, promote
and inspire women filmmakers at NYU, one of the nation’s leading film
schools. Fusion encourages the collaboration between male and female
filmmakers to demonstrate the advantages of gender partnerships in
filmmaking. This multi-day festival of screenings, industry panels,
masterclasses and student showcases supports the creative visions
of female filmmakers.
