The winning film of the "Best Female Directed Feature Film Contest" of the
last 30 years is... Kathryn Bigelow's THE HURT LOCKER! Thank you to all
of our participants! This Iraq War film about an American bomb squad won
6 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director at the 82nd Annual
Academy Awards - You have great taste!
Our Grand Prize winner is Will Halas of Rochester, NY. He made the most
accurate predictions in the contest, including the correct choice of
tournament champion, "The Hurt Locker". We hope everyone had a great
time!
